Q: What is the cost of tickets?
A: Each Friend ticket is $225, the Patron package is $525, the Benefactor package is $975, the Clutch Club is $3,000 and the Double Clutch Club is $5,000. Click here to view package details and to purchase tickets.
Q: How much are tickets at the door?
A: There is no increase in ticket price, but only Friend tickets ($225) may be purchased at the door. Tickets may be purchased with cash and major credit cards at the Broad Street entrance and the 12th and Arch Streets entrance. Tickets will NOT be sold at the Grand Hall entrance adjacent to the Philadelphia Marriott.
Q: Are children allowed at the event?
A: Children are not encouraged to attend although children under two will be admitted free of charge; children over the age of two need a ticket for admission. There is no discounted ticket price for children.
Q: What is the attire?
A: Dress to be photographed in black tie attire. Comfortable shoes and a light jacket or wrap are recommended.
Q: What time does the event start/end?
A: The event runs from 7pm to 11:30pm.
Q: Where is the entrance?
A: The main entrance to the event is at the Broad Street entrance between Arch and Race Streets. Coat check is located just inside the main entrance. Guests staying at the Marriott may enter through the Grand Hall.
Q: Where can I park?
Self-parking is available for:
– $5 at Gateway Parking Garage at 1540 Vine Street (entrance on Spring & 16th Streets)
– $10 at Parkway Garage at Broad & Race Streets (150 N. Broad Street)
– $10 at Parkway lot at 142 N. 15th Street (15th & Cherry Streets)
– $15 at Convention Center Parking Facility at 1324 Arch Street
– $18 at Parkway Garage at 12th & Filbert Streets (entrances on 12th, Arch, Filbert and 13th Streets)
Vouchers will be necessary for certain garages. Please check with attendant upon entering the event to receive above parking rate. Rates not valid for overnight parking.
Q: Is valet parking available?
A: Valet parking is available to those people who purchased a Patron, Benefactor, Clutch Club or Double Clutch Club package. The valet parking entrance is on Broad Street between Arch and Race Streets. Again, this is not valid for overnight parking.
Q: Is the event a sit-down dinner?
A: No, it is a moving cocktail party on the floor of the Auto Show throughout the Pennsylvania Convention Center. There are unreserved tables and chairs set up throughout the event.
Q: What kind of food is served?
A: This year, the Black Tie Tailgate will feature food stations created around signature dishes of renowned Iron Chef Jose Garces.
Q: Is there an open bar?
A: Yes, the cost of alcohol is included in the ticket price. Open bars are located throughout the event.
Q: Who is the entertainment?
A: Dance to the sounds of Jellyroll on the main stage. There will be other entertainment throughout the event.
Q: What type of music?
A: Jellyroll is dance band that will play between the Mercedes-Benz and Lexus Display in the Grand Hall.
Q: Is the entire Auto Show open that night?
A: The only section of the Show not open for the Black Tie Tailgate is the DUB exhibit in Hall F.
Q: Who is the beneficiary?
A: The Division of Neonatology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is the recipient for the 2014 event.
