The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation, established in 2003, contributes funding and resources to worthwhile child-related programs and causes throughout the Greater Philadelphia five-county region, including support of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. To date, the organization has contributed over $3.3 million to The Children's Hospital
of Philadelphia.
The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation is half way through its $2 million, six-year pledge to the Hospital which supports the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Patient Welcome Center in the Richard D. Wood Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center and other Hospital programs including Duct Busters, the Trisomy 21 Center for Down Syndrome, the Center for Injury Research and Prevention and Partners in Pediatric Palliative Care. Upon completion of this pledge, total giving will exceed $4.3 million.
The Foundation has supported other programs benefiting the lives and welfare of children in the Delaware Valley including the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Bethanna, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Drueding Center/Project Rainbow, Economics Pennsylvania's "Strive to Drive" Program, Gilda's Club of the Delaware Valley and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Protege' Program.
