1934 MG K3 Magnette
Details
The MG (for Morris Garage) name is synonymous with “sports car” and MGs imported by servicemen helped revive road racing in the US after the War. Of all the MGs built for racing, the K3 Magnette was one of the most successful. The K3 shown here came in 4th overall in the 1934 Le Mans 24-hour race, competing against cars with much larger engines. This was the highest place finish for any MG in history in international competition.
