Black Tie Tailgate Information
The Philadelphia Auto Show Black Tie Tailgate is an annual philanthropic event that benefits The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The goal of the event is to raise as many funds as possible for the Hospital while providing guests a unique way to view the Philadelphia Auto Show. The 2012 Black Tie Tailgate at the Philadelphia Auto Show is scheduled for Friday, January 27th, from 7:00p.m. to 11:30p.m. at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This year’s event will benefit the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Like any event similar in nature, every attendee must be fiscally-accounted for by its producers. Therefore, in the effort to provide as much fiscal support as possible to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia has streamlined its complimentary credential policy for industry members and interested media.
Black Tie Tailgate access for industry members will ONLY be granted to product specialists, display managers and/or other support staff who are specifically assigned to work the evening of the Black Tie Tailgate. Those who have been assigned to work the evening of the Black Tie Tailgate should bring this to the attention of the Show Office Staff when picking up their credentials upon arrival.
Credentials for members of the press will ONLY be granted to media partners of the Philadelphia Auto Show and/or through other public relations efforts. To discuss the opportunity to become a media partner, please contact Andrea Simpson at andrea@adagp.com by January 13th. Please note – while post-event media coverage is always appreciated, it is the public relations mission of all parties involved with the Black Tie Tailgate to promote the event in a timely manner via pre-event publicity that specifically encourages event attendance and additional support of the Hospital.
